We run a trim installation company in the MD/DC/VA market. As you might expect, there is a lot of waste in residential and commercial construction. We gather up excess material, including some of the material we actually purchase for our jobs, and we sell what we no longer need. We sell this material at approximately 50% of the wholesale price, which is, of course, substantially less expensive than typical retailers, and even lumberyards.. The funds from these sales are donated 100% to KENYA HANDS OF HOPE in support of orphans and widows who are in danger of malnutrition or even death without help from others.
